All-on-8 Implants

In traditional dentistry, patients with multiple missing teeth would often receive individual dental implants for each missing tooth, which could be time-consuming and costly. The All-on-4 concept was introduced as a way to streamline the process and make it more efficient.

The All-on-4 treatment involves placing four dental implants strategically in the jawbone, usually towards the front of the mouth, to support a full arch dental prosthesis (bridge or denture). This prosthesis is custom-made to fit the patient’s mouth, and it is fixed in place, meaning it is not removable by the patient.

The All-on-8 concept takes this a step further by using eight dental implants instead of four to support the full arch prosthesis. The additional implants provide increased stability and support for the prosthesis, which can be particularly beneficial for patients with reduced bone density or other specific dental conditions.

The All-on-8 treatment approach offers several advantages:

  1. Enhanced stability: With eight implants supporting the prosthesis, it can offer improved stability and reduce the risk of implant failure.
  2. Better distribution of chewing forces: The load-bearing capacity of the implants is distributed across eight points rather than four, which can be beneficial for patients with a stronger bite or a larger number of missing teeth.
  3. Bone preservation: The increased number of implants may contribute to better bone preservation over time by stimulating the jawbone and preventing bone loss.
  4. Aesthetics and function
